工作职责:

a)Build an internal infrastructure of compound management system and CADD platform to drive small molecule discovery projects.

b)Assist drug target evaluation, including drug ability analysis, patent search/analysis and structure analysis.

c)Identify, evaluate and optimize small molecular lead compounds using molecular docking, virtual screening, QSAR and other computer-aided drug design approaches.

d)Plan, design and oversee CRO/Academia lab to develop co-crystallization of Innovent internal lead compound with novel targets to understand key structural interaction to inspire new and troubleshoot compound designs .

e)Actively participate in nominating new frontier targets and establishing new drug discovery programs; helping create an environment to channel scientific curiosity to build and deliver a sustainable portfolio.

f)Advance the Innovent Research Portfolio and presenting/publishing project results in scientific meetings, patents and peer-reviewed literature.

任职资格:

1.Ph.D. degree in computational chemistry or closely related discipline, with 5~10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry alongside a strong track record of scientific innovation in the medicinal chemistry projects

2.Expertise in molecular docking, homology modeling and other technologies in CADD. Familiar with structure based or ligand-based drug design software like Schrodinger/MOE

3.Experiences on target classes like kinases, ion channels, GPCRs and nuclear receptors

4.Understanding small molecule physical properties and critical interactions between small molecules and protein

5.Capability to collaborate within medicinal chemistry team and also with different functions

6.Innovative team-player with high energy for fast-paced environment

7.Excellent written and verbal communication skills
