Responsibilities:

· Accountable for the performance and results of procurement activities

· Set directions, formulate and execute strategy for procurement in China, which are supportive of the business needs and, in line with the regional / Corporate directions/strategy

· Source and develop new suppliers and materials in China

· Lead price negotiations with suppliers

· Build strategic supplier relationships and manage the relationships to enhance best material cost among competition and uninterrupted supply of materials

· Implement and Drive the procurement processes and cost reduction programs in China with his in-depth purchasing knowledge and functional expertise to ensure best sourcing value , on time in full deliveries , within quality standards

· Ensure that risk Management Plans are developed, reviewed and maintained for4 the area of responsibility, in line with business & category strategies

· Ensure that all business relationships within the area of responsibility is protected by appropriate contractual documents. Prepare, manage & oversee implementation of contractual documentation

· In-depth understanding and analysis of material, market and supplier trend/opportunities

· Support New launches , by supplying newly developed materials within launch projects time lines

· Design, & Management of a team : to recruit / develop / motivate subordinates

Requirements:

· Bachelor degree or above

· Proficient English

· 8 years Experience in Cosmetics sector preferred, if not in FMCG

· Robust Experience and background in Plant Procurement, with proven Leadership results.

· Besides Procurement, Experience in other Supply Chain function (Planning, NPD, etc..) is a plus

· High level of integrity

· Excellent English and Chinese Mandarin communication skills

· Strong leadership and influencing skills

· Strategic thinking and problem solving skills

· Creativity, adaptability, flexibility and high energy level; is a Change Champion

· Pro-active, enthusiastic and driven

· Negotiation skills
