Job Summary
This position reports to Global Sourcing Manager in Indirect per-negotiated buying. The candidate will be mainly responsible for price management and items/demand analysis of Catalog projects. The business scope is mainly within Asia and is extended to global environment. The candidate is required to develop, implement and measure a global catalog strategy for indirect purchase (mainly standard buying) that fully meets the supply chain needs of our business units.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Support to lead ongoing catalog management activities within identified catalog items and suppliers

- Lead indirect materials classifications, technical specification analysis, and standardizations

- Analyze market conditions for assigned commodities and implement catalog strategies to assure supply efficiency and price competitiveness

- Analyze purchasing data and coordinate/communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure the best meet for supply/demand.

- Identify and leverage clients company-wide spend opportunities

- Develop & execute sourcing strategies to renegotiate with suppliers periodically

- Develop implementation strategy, responsibility assignments, communications plans and timeline

- Clearly define service level expectations and requirement to assess current supplier community and recommend new suppliers who can add value related to new sourcing opportunities

- Negotiate, review and execute the implementation of contractual arrangements per company policy and business objectives

Education & Experience Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Material Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management or other relevant discipline preferred

- Five years’ strategic sourcing/analysis experience for indirect procurement categories in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment or similar

- Strong communication skills and negotiation skills

- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

- Able and willing to travel across China and/or internationally if required

- Languages: Local language and Good English skills, both in verbal and written

- Skills:

o 1) Preferable experience in SAP, Ariba/Coupa or similar;

o 2) Good data analysis;

o 3) Preferable knowledge & interest in MRO materials.
