Role Summary/Purpose

The Human Resources Manager will support the Supply Chain employees in the Suzhou facility. He/ She will be responsible to lead initiatives and projects to maintain positive employee relations. The overall population responsibility is approximately 200 salaried and hourly employees. This role will report to the China O&G Drilling & Surface HR Leader and dotted line to the Global HR Leader based in Houston, TX USA.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and expertise for the full scope of Human Resource (HR) functions including all aspects of recruitment, professional relations, employee benefit, compensation, employee involvement, practices, training, organizational change and development and communications for a client group(s) • Lead the local HR team • Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization • Manage complex issues within area of expertise • Be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy • Work closely with the Business Leaders and Oil & Gas HQ HRMs to align the functional and business HR strategies • Lead and initiate new and innovative HR practices to create a strong culture and high performing teams globally • Strategically partner with client managers to determine global organizational structure, provide leadership to support business objectives, and to provide seamless functional HR support to the global organization • Drive human resources compliance and ensure standardization and consistency of human resource practices and policies • Provide advice, council and support for benefits, training, compliance programs and HR information systems • Play a key leadership role in the communication strategy for the functions • Act as an impartial advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment • Proactively partner with Functional Leaders on proper actions to become an Employer of Choice. • Perform a leadership role in recruiting, selection, performance management and career development.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. • At least 5 additional years of experience as a human resources generalist.
