POSITION:
China Industrial Facility Management Operations Director - Shanghai based
LOCATION:
Jones Lang LaSalle office (Shanghai / China)
REPORTING TO:
China Industrial IFM Lead
NUMBER OF SUBORDINATES:
6-8 direct reports
POSITION GOALS:
?Support the delivery of high quality FM services to regional and local Clients in China by driving business improvement initiatives
?Client management of local industrial accounts
?Co-Manage the P&L for IFM local accounts in China
?Promote skill development and knowledge transfer of Client delivery teams
?Support the business development activities in China
?Work with other business lines to promote cross-sell.
?Achieve Individual Performance Management Plan objectives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Business Strategy
?Support the development and delivery of Industrial China business plan
?Represent IFM in external networking forums and client functions
-New Business Development
?Identify cross selling opportunities for other business lines and work with manager and other business lines to convert
?Contribute to the North China business target (as per IPMP) by supporting new business activities
-Financial Management
?Manage the net operating revenue for the local accounts; for the IFM business
?Participate in the quarterly forecasting sessions
?Manage debtors to the DSO targets
?Manage the billing of the local accounts in accordance with the management agreements
-Account Management
?Manage the performance of the local Client accounts
?Develop a business delivery plan for all local accounts
?Ensure day to day management support to the local account teams
?Ensure that Client account related audits are carried out
?Maintain and enhance Client satisfaction
-Regional Account Support
?Support regional IFM accounts by:
?Providing advice on local practises
?Assisting with recruitment of staff
?Assisting with performance management of staff
-Operations Management
?Drive business improvement initiatives across accounts in China
?Develop and implement a mechanism to drive business improvement initiatives and innovations across accounts
?Ensure consistency in process and procedures across accounts
?Ensure the implementation of Engineering & Operation initiatives including EHS Risk Management
-Client Value
?Develop strong relationships with key personnel in the Client's organisation
?Demonstrate to Client - IFM's value engineering and global best practises
?Ensure client surveys are conducted and co-ordinate Client feedback follow-up program
-Resource Management
?Assist with the selection, recruitment of personnel, and the performance management of staff on local Accounts
?Work with HR to develop country specific training and skills development programs
?Organise regular FM forums for networking and training purposes
?Ensure succession plans are in place for direct reports and all client service delivery staff
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
?Engineering degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
?Minimum 12 years of working experience as facilities manager in a manufacturing or commercial environment with at least 5 years as senior manager
?Leading team for high performance
?English & Chinese proficiency is a must
