Job Description

The position includes full, top-level responsibility for the entire quality function and reports to the COO. It involves the development and oversight of the quality function and includes leadership of Quality Engineers / Quality Supervisors / Quality Manager Team.

Roles/Responsibilities (RR)

1. Manufacturing & Supplier Quality
2. Establish quality procedures, standards, and specifications for company. Fully intergraded and practical quality system. Improve yield and reduce claim.
3. Collect, compile, and analyze relevant quality statistical data to obtain information regarding quality performance.
4. Supervise technicians, inspectors, and other company staff to ensure they perform their duties in line with established quality procedures.
5. Monitor product development processes to identify deviations from quality policies.
6. Conduct tests to verify the quality of raw materials and finished products.
7. Approve compliant products and reject defective ones.
8. Set up basis matrix/index to measure the overall quality performance.
9. Responsible for Quality Inspection and Auditing.
10. Collaborate with an organization’s purchasing manager to set up standards and criteria to ensure raw materials from external suppliers meet quality requirements.
11. Carry out research to identify ways to reduce waste and maximize resources.
12. Set and enforce standards for Environment, Health and Safety during work operations.
13. Ensure manufacturing processes are in compliance with both national and international standards of production.
14. Maintain proper records of quality test, procedures and standards.
15. Customer Quality
16. Conduct surveys to identify customer requirements and ensure them being met by established quality standards.
17. Establish customer claim flow and summary procedure.
18. Management
19. Establish and train a strong cohesive and highly efficient team and develop talent.
20. Review and Report
21. Review existing process and product specification to identify the need for improvement or upgrade.
22. Proffer recommendations to company management on ways to improve existing quality processes.
23. Prepare and present reports to update upper management on quality activities
