Position Purpose/Objective:
The RF Engineer - Antenna is responsible for the development of RF antennas, duplexers, combiners and other related RF circuitry and devices used in base station and wireless communication system.
Minimum Position Requirements
Min Bachelor degree, preferable Master or PhD degree in RF design or related filed
1.Over 5 years' experience of base station antenna design
2.Min 2 years experience of working in a multi-country company
1. Good knowledge of RF design theory and design process
2. Familiar with RF design simulation tools, such as HFSS; an soft designer, CST, etc.
3. Familiar with RF test equipments and able to perform antenna & component tests
4. Perform and guide junior level engineer in design and in simulation
5. Have basic knowledge of 3D mechanical modeling on RF components and of 2D drawing
6. Have basic knowledge of basic station antenna test method, near field test and far field test ranges
7. Understand antenna manufacturing process
8. Good habit in terms of design documentation management
Have basic knowledge of project management with potentiality to be a technical project manager
Communicate fluently in English in technical field
1. Analytical, responsible, dependable and open-minded
2. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a project team
3. Hard-working and willing to work overtime to meet tasks deadline
Responsibilities
1. Perform antenna design task, including simulation, prototype evaluation and product qualification test
2. Follow the ISO process, the PLC process and Passion for Quality in product development.
3. Make document designs according to company standards
4. Develop tools and procedures for assigned projects
5. Participate in production support and cost reduction activities for assigned projects
6. Participate in and support globe antenna design activities
7. Coach and guide junior engineer in the daily work to accomplish assigned tasks
8. Provide technical support to sourcing and purchasing in communication with vendors
