Job Descriptions:
The Logistics Manager will perform all activities related to importation and exportation of raw materials and products, as well as performing Supply Chain activities related to warehouse managing & stock replenishment.
Assist Supply Chain Manager on freight & warehousing cost control and managing 3PL performance to ensure on- time delivery to both internal and external customers across the APAC Region.
Major Responsibilities:
Source quality logistics service providers from market, selects from the pool and negotiates terms for best service and interests according to market conditions and service requirements;
Set up KPI and implement strategies to ensure 3PL to act upon;
Develop and control operational costs upon distribution budget to meet business objectives, take initiatives to find cost saving opportunities and lead the implementation;
Develop policies and procedures for the logistic-related activities as per business demand and optimize the Logistic process to continuously reduce logistic costs and lead-times thus help to achieve an optimum balance of service costs and quality standards in line with service policy;
Timely and correctly execute the inbound/outbound shipments, including vessel booking, shipping documents preparation, making daily record and file keeping, ensuring all process/documentations are in line with government regulation;
Apply for relevant Import & Export Licenses or Certificate to facilitate the export shipments to APAC Region;
Manage Logistic Service Providers, monitor & evaluate daily performance and finish monthly KPI Report (Logistic Service Provider's performance vs. contracts, incidents & accidents etc);
Verify logistics monthly spend & invoices from providers and perform cost analysis;
Ensure the logistics and supply chain process in line with the SOX compliance;
Finish other tasks assigned by Supply Chain Manager;
