Job Description
The role of the process engineer is to evaluate existing processes and to configure manufacturing systems to
reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process. The main focus
of the process engineer's work is on maintaining reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving
production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers. The process engineer is a part of a team driven to
identify, develop and deliver innovative solutions, driven to constantly improve process capability and
production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.

Responsibilities

>Evaluate existing processes and configure manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability
>Develop best practices within the production process, ensuring the departments meets company's performance targets
>Identify, plan and execute improvement projects
>Create, revise and improve internal standards and working instructions
>Support Maintenance department for preventive and corrective maintenance activities
>Ensure the manufacturing processes are in compliance with Quality and safety standards
>Provide technical inputs for incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions

Qualifications
>Bachelor degree in engineering
>Talent for prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
>Strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
>Computer skills (MS Office)
>Enjoys teamwork, willing to travel to support work in other location
>Ability to learn quickly
>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
>Must be willing to work with glass processing industry for Pharmaceutical customers
>Knowledge about Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are an advantage
