Position Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Reports to: Engineering Manager – LI R&D

Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of Asia R&D engineering team, you will be responsible for design and development of new leading technology/product to support fixture category, and create the tooling asset management system and maintain the system

• Marketing survey & Customer Voice to identify any potential technology needs

• Competitors’ products benchmark to dig out improved technology requirement

• Support ceramic platform advanced development in components/application

• Define, setup and implement the injection molding process of new products in the plant or at the mold maker side traceability of the process, product performance and quality, product and process costs, ... through the cooperation within the project team, product designing, project engineer

• Work internally & externally to develop new technology, structures, to support new Ideas and product launch in schedule

• Support Engineering team for the tooling design approval according to the tooling design standards and provide final approval.

• Design to Cost, provide competitive cost solution with high quality

• Driving technology & platform standardization & synergy in region/global level

• Work with Proc. & SQE for supplier audit/approval

Requirements and/or Advantages

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Industrial engineering

• At least 8~10 years’ experience in the plastic, metal, stainless steel products development, and injection tooling design and manufacturing

• Prefer to have experience of tooling design CAE simulation analyses

• Prefer to have plastic injection deep drawing tooling design experience.

• Skillful in 3D software (Creo) and regular office software

• Good Oral and written English.

• Passionate, adaptable, self-motivated, and independent

• Well project management skill

• Anti-pressure with overtime and work loading
