Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop standard injection molding processes that incorporate industry standards and best practices from external and internal sources.
- Collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, sourcing and suppliers to develop design guidelines that target DFM, and DFx principles. In addition, decision analyses for where products are built and where components are molded.
- Develop with finance a consistent model to enable true cost analysis between sites for critical decisions on where products are built.
- Develop design for manufacturing tools to drive process adherence across NPI programs.
- Perform technical assessments of mold tooling suppliers and molded part suppliers in collaboration with Sourcing organization.
- Generate an outsourcing/insourcing strategy document that covers critical areas like tooling/tester ownership.
- Benchmark Injection Molding practices within external industry sources.
- Facilitate and maintain manufacturing technology roadmap for Injection Molding.
- Continuous evaluation of Injection Molding methods and what benefit they can bring to the business.
- supplier sites to support process development and issue resolution.
- Serve as a trainer and mentor to others within the ACS community.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in plastics or mechanical engineering or similar field.
- 5 or more years of experience in product manufacturing or process development.
- 3 or more years of managing projects which involve multiple locations.

Additional Qualifications:

- Experience using analytics and tools such as Six Sigma, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Strong program management skills along with strong leadership and interpersonal skills in a team environment demonstrating influence across many functions.
- Relevant manufacturing experience.
- Six Sigma and/or Lean methodology experience for new product introduction and/or ongoing production.
- Experience with working with manufacturing suppliers.
- Proficient oral and written Chineseand English communication skills.
- Results focused with successful record of accomplishments.
