EHS Supervisor
Job Description
Reporting: Direct line report to Facility/Operation Manager
Dotted line reporting to AP EHS Manager

Primary Responsibility

Responsible for the effective implementation of the EHS Management System at the site; ensuring appropriate loaclization but maintaining alignment with Corporate standards.

Provide professional knowledge and expertise in the administration of environmental health and safety programs.

Responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of Environmental, Health and Safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory agency guidelines and HB Fuller policies.

Show demontrated leadership to drive the safety culture throughout the Site and Business and to share best practice with other HB Fuller EHS personnel within the region as well as globally

Essential Functions:
Develops and implements accident investigation, data analysis, and recurrence prevention programs and procedures. Ensure accurate and timely capture and analysis of incident data.
Ensures compliance with all applicable government policies/legislation and codes governing environmental health and safety by facilitating the development of policies and procedure. Join in the related EHS meeting and activity hold by government as required.
To participate in the New Product Introduction process [NPI] to ensure that EHS issues are properly reviewed and addressed.
Be a key-stake holder in capital expenditure and/or improvement projects to ensure that EHS issues are properly reviewed and addressed; including proper execution of management of change processes.
Designs EHS training for all levels of employees; Develop procedures to ensure effective communication of Safety alerts and learnings.
Conducts on-site reviews and audits; and participate in reviews and audits of othe HBF Site's operations and facilities.
Investigates and evaluates new safety equipment for appropriateness.
Responds and provides assistance to all emergency situations.
Responsible for the management of site security.
Responsbile for the waste management in the plant.
TKS facilitator for EHS - Ensure Material Safety Data Sheets are available and reviewed as part of compliance to Quality standard and reviewed at least every five years for currency. Implement Register to comply with accompanying timetable.

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree
3 years experience in Environment, Health & Safety Experience in a manufacturing environment in a supervisory capacity.
Excellent oral and written English language capability.
Excellent analytical, conflict resolution, communication and project management skills.
Good computer skills; Experience with Microsoft office.

Preferred Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Licensed Safety Professional
5 years experience in Environment, Health & Safety Experience in a manufacturing environment in a supervisory capacity.
Excellent oral and written English language capability.
Excellent analytical, conflict resolution, communication and project management skills.
Good computer skills; Experience with Microsoft office.
