Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

* Lead process improvement activities using Lean and Six Sigma methodology targeted toward ensuring key Sourcing processes and systems are designed and implemented with 6S methodology while achieving desired results and aligning to business needs at key identified suppliers * Lead Lean Assessments and AWO's and leverage Lean principles to realize additional cost benefits, capacity, OTD, etc. and achieve financial benefits for GE O&G by utilizing/implementing Lean at suppliers * Drive On-Time Delivery Big Y and mentor Lean and Six Sigma projects for the Sourcing Team by providing expertise and leadership as required * Drive continuous transactional quality improvement through incorporation of VOC requirements in all projects * Monitor all Six Sigma activities and ensure projects tie directly to GE O&G stated "Big-Ys" and Sourcing G&Os * Facilitate, train, and mentor Green Belts and others on Lean and Six Sigma philosophy and application as appropriate * Work with operating leaders and teams to uncover and assess lean Six Sigma opportunities for GE O&G and its suppliers * Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve process capability, improve the value stream and eliminate defects. * Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.

Qualifications/Requirements

* BA/BS (Technology or Business Degree preferred) * Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (GE employees only) * Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a strong focus on data-driven decision making * Solid leadership skills, change agent, customer centric, independent thinker * Demonstrated project management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks in compressed timeframes * Cross-functional experience and experience working across cultures, teams and time zones * Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

* BB/MBB Certified (For GE internal candidates) * Lean manufacturing experience * Prior Sourcing experience
