PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead the category ( to be specified ) in China, develop & translate strategy into action plans and execution
· Develop strategy and product plans for the category, to meet business goals
· Follow through execution with product development teams
· Work with sales / trade marketing to developing and implement programs designed to both acquire as well as retain customers, measured through market share
· Monitor & guide financial performance of the category...Volume, Revenue, Costs, Gross Margins & OP.
· Capture and analyze market / industry data to understand current performance, issues & opportunities leading to action planning and execution.
· Lead the innovation effort based on consumer needs and benefits. Drive commercialization and integration of innovation ideas into product launch plans.
PERSON PROFILE
· Strong business / category management background
· Experience : 8 + years
· Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence people / stakeholders beyond reporting relationships
· Should ideally have spent some time in sales and marketing operations
· Should have product development experience
