What you will do

To address the elevated management standard and the complexity in commercial operations of China Field business, this role aims to streamline the process and strengthen the effectiveness and resource utilization efficiency in key element of commercial operations and provide support to key China initiatives by working closely with China Lines of Business, functional, regional sales team and APAC level stakeholders. The position serves as key member of Strategy and Commercial Operations team, Buildings China, and adds value in several aspects to Buildings China's transformation process to achieve fast and profitable growth: (1) Run the China Pricing DOA Management Office; (2) Support transformation program management; (3) Support War Room operations

How you will do it
Run the China Pricing DOA Management Office (~60%)
Present project profile of critical deals to APAC stakeholders as representative of China Field team, align objectives of cross function teams, resolve issues, and obtain approvals based on DOA and project schedule requirement
Implement the Definition of Done, Definition of Ready and Team Working Agreement and ensure the compliance in execution. Continue to improve the governance model, process, and tools for effectiveness and efficiency enhancement
Conduct trainings to field sales team to improve execution discipline and quality

Support in Transformation Program Management (~15%)
Support China transformation lead to monitor the progress and operational results of transformation initiatives. Identify and resolve issues by working with work stream leaders and initiative owners to ensure the compliance in process, schedule and quality
Verify, analyze the results and forecast of transformation initiatives, and drive implications to China Field business that linked to regular China and APAC management cadence, as well as strategic and financial planning sessions

Support in War Room Operations (~15%)
Collect, verify, analyze and consolidate input from regions, Lines of Business and functional teams for regular War Room review
Coordinate pre and post review activities for War Room operations

Participate in strategy projects / initiatives (~10%)
Involved and participate in projects / initiatives of China strategy and commercial operations team on demand basis

What we look for

Education: A recognized bachelor degree or above

Job Experience:
Minimum 8 years of working experience in multi-national and highly matrixed organizations with strong experience in commercial management roles (e.g. commercial excellence, PMO, etc.)
Experience in industrial B-to-B project based business; experience in building (equipment and solutions) related business is preferred
Track record in leading cross-functional team and stakeholders management is preferred
Experience in FP&A is a plus

Knowledge and skills:
Full professional proficiency in oral and written English is a must
Business acumen, possession of knowledge in industrial B-to-B project based business in regard to sales process, commercial terms, project operations, etc.
Resilient, organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and high business ethical standard
Broad-based business thinker who can collaborate effectively with peers, drive internal alignment, and lead cross-functional team
Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills
Good analytical and problem solving capability
Possession of fundamental knowledge and skills in project management
Knowledge in financial or strategic planning and analysis is a plus
Middle level skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
