职位描述：
'- Main purpose/objective of the position
？ 1. Source for cost competitive suppliers.
？ 2. Analyse purchases and formulate strategy for cost reduction through centralized purchasing.
？ 3. Support new projects in purchasing-related activities.
- Key tasks
？ 1. Supervise and plan the workload of the purchasing team and ensure the work efficiency of the purchasing department;
？ 2. Responsible for purchasing parts in time according to production plan;
？ 3. Responsible for the cost and quality of the purchased parts;
？ 4. Responsible for the accuracy of the standard cost to be provided to Finance department;
？ 5. Responsible for purchasing the production and testing equipment and tools in coordination with related departments;
？ 6. Responsible for finding right forwarding companies to minimize the transport cost for goods purchased or delivered;
？ 7. Identify right suppliers for the purchased parts;
？ 8. Negotiate purchasing price with suppliers based on raw material cost and manufacturing process;
？ 9. Ensure the quality of purchased parts and production capacity of the suppliers;
？ 10. Identify the right suppliers for production equipment and facilities;
？ 11. Ensure the accuracy of the ISO 9001 documents related to purchasing department;
？ 12. Update BOM for all products and ensure their accuracy;
？ 13. Maintain the basic data related to the purchasing department inside the Mfg/Pro system.
？ 14. Follow up market price change of the main raw materials used in Company’s products;
？ 15. Negotiate good terms of payment and keep DPO at the reasonable level;
？ 16. Help logistic department to minimize the inventory for achieving DSOH target;
？ 17. Support other units for purchasing parts in China.

职位要求：
1. Education Level:
Graduate from a 4 year University degree program in Material Science or Industrial Engineering will be advantageous
but not essential.

2. Specific area:
？ 2.1 Material Science – plastic, ferrous & non-ferrous metals
？ 2.2 Industrial Engineering – manufacturing, process

3. LANGUAGE ABILITY :
Must be fluent in English (verbal & written) & Chinese (Mandarin).

4. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
？ At least 8 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry, with 3 years’ in the purchasing function.
？ Experience & knowledge in purchasing of raw materials for industrial products.

5. OTHER SKILLS OR ABILITIES REQUIRED :
？ 5.1 Familiar with manufacturing processes and its related cost analysis for:
？ - Plastic injection molding
？ - Non-ferrous casting and machining, stamping
？ - Ferrous casting and machining, stamping
？ - Mold & die fabrication
？ - “MAKE” and “BUY” recommendation
？ 5.2 Familiar with the Chinese markets for materials and parts.
？ 5.3 Familiar with regional & international shipping and related logistics.
？ 5.4 Familiar with “import-export” procedures
？ 5.5 Possess strong leadership skills. Must be honest, reliable and dependable in character.
？ 5.6 Willing and able to travel extensively throughout China to source for materials.
？ 5.7 Able to work with people of different nationalities and yet independent and able to work alone.
？ 5.8 Good interpersonal & negotiation skills.
？ 5.9 Trained on basic strategic purchasing & logistics.
？ 5.10 Familiar with modern communication channels like the use of internet, e-mail, and MS Office Applications
