Basic Function:
Responsible to source part of materials of production and suppliers to fit the needs of Richter EP of China

Primary duties & responsibilities:
1. Seek for regional potential supplier base information and execute supplier evaluation;
1). Collect and coordinate regional suppliers' information;
2). Lead potential supply base analysis and assessment implement;

2. Determine most appropriate source, accomplish local/global sourcing plan;
1). Work with sourcing manager and relevant department to qualify a supplier;
2). Drawing up a new project localization plan;
3). RFQ and cost analysis, determine the appropriate supplier;
4). Execute sample approval process, ensure the localization plan work on time;
5). Handle the provisional task form BU or Global sourcing;

3. Supplier management ;
1). Supplier assessment and performance improvement support;
2). frequently communicates with suppliers, build a good relationship with them;
3). Work with suppliers and engineering Dept. to support our product change requirement;
4). Exert all available sources to optimize and integrate current suppliers, achieve the cost down objective;

4. Others
1). Communicate with Germany colleagues, ensure a thorough understanding of their requirements, and update the localized new project status timely;
2). Work with purchasing manager set up and achieve the department KPI requirements;

Skills essentials to the job
1. Technical:
1). General knowledge of commodity market and supplier base in China. Profound knowledge in one or more special field required (if any);
2). Engineering background is expected, or ability to understand and communicate engineering requirements.
3). Good understanding of manufacture process;
4). General knowledge of quality system and tool, Lean, Kaizen; 6-sigma;
5). General knowledge of logistic and international trading procedures; government duty, customs regulations
6) Good ability of studying miscellaneous commodities technics;

2. Business
1). Good project management skills (senior engineer)
2). Acuity feeling of cost and risk; good negotiation skills;
3). Active attitude and thinking abilities of "I can do "and "how can I do"
4). Good at utilize the resource and support of team to settle problems.
5). Good written and oral skills in both English and Chinese;
6). Acclimatizes extensive domestic single travel;

3. Human Relations:
1). Ability to get along with people from a variety of cultural background and can listen;
2). To be a honest person and be willing to help others;

Qualifications required
1. Bachelor degree in engineering (Material, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industry control..)
2. Over 3 years sourcing or engineering experience in companies, at least 2 years on sourcing engineer position;
3. Over 5 years working experience in manufacturing organizations which in following areas(for senior sourcing engineer) ;
1). Precision machining components, screws machined parts;
2). Casting (casting iron, steel, stainless steel...)
3). PFA and PTFE plastic and rubber molded, machining;
4). Mechanical parts and metal material (stamping, sheet metal..),mechanical sealing parts
5). C-Class items (packing material, fasteners, seals)
