职位描述
ESSENTIAL ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops, applies and maintains supplier quality systems and quality processes.
- Works closely with sourcing engineers to execute the parts approval procedure.
- Conducts periodic quality system and process audit to current suppliers and follows up their improvement actions.
- Interpret engineering drawings or technical procedures/requirements to the suppliers.
- Provides necessary trainings to obtain supplier's compliance.
- Facilitates efficient inspection processes for suppliers to ensure good correlation among
suppliers, Tyden Suzhou and customers.
- Establish appropriate supplier quality metrics and drives continuous improvements.
- Reviews quality issues and develops action plans with the supply base.
- Other duties may also be assigned as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in technical/engineering
2. Minimum 4 years of supplier quality management experience with broad knowledge in commodities and processes such as:
* Stamping
* Casting
* Machining
* Injection Molding
* Surface finishing: painting, plating, coating, silk screen, anodizing, etc.
3. Familiar with ISO 9000 or TS 16949 standards, skilled at supplier audits.
4. Experience with parts approval and tooling issue recommendations and resolutions.
5. Good English communication skills.
6. Have basic process improvement knowledge, Six Sigma Certification is a plus
7. Experience with quality tools like PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA is a plus.

- Travel 30-40%
- Some night or morning conference call with oversea colleagues
