Job Definition
Industrial Process Planning Engineer = industrialized planning of complete factory production & logistics process
Candidate Qualification
-Mechanical or Electrical engineering education with engineer's certification, demonstrating adequate strong and effective organization, excellent interpersonal communication, mechanical and troubleshooting skills
-Min. 3 years engineering role in technical/production/logistics projects/processes in manufacturing industries
-In addition to studied theoretical knowledge, the job candidate must possess 2~3 years of prior hand-on experience in measurement instrument production and process-flow, on-site and in-house quality control and audit, engineering drawing and technical documentation, international and domestic industry norms and standards
-Industrial engineering experience in developing and working with small teams of problem solving preferred
-Profound knowledge in SAP manufacturing module, good computer skills, MS software, reporting tools
-Comprehensive entrepreneurial attitude, able to work long hours under pressure
-Bilingual (English and Mandarin), fluent English reading, writing and speaking, German language skill is a plus
-Familiar with assembly process of automotive industry
Functional Organisation
-Reporting daily activities to Industrial Process Planning Team Leader and Engineering Manager
-Contribute to product technique support and coaching onsite
-Contribute to equipment maintenance onsite
-Develop regular status reports on Product Process Maintain, Optimization and Improvement
-Supporting new product project deliverable and resource needs to Project Leader
-Work closely in cooperation with all involved internal-/external- people and process
-Interacting daily engineering activities with PCM T dept. and PCM external support teams
Daily Responsibility
-Cooperate with PCM to solve urgent problems happened in current product manufacturing process
-Study current manufacturing process of product, find solution to increase productivity and quality level in machining, welding and assembly operation
-Improvement projects in the production based on the aspects of the SMART4Q Production System (manufacturing and logistics)
-Integration of machines, working systems and processes including training of production staff
-Make tools and jigs to support normal daily operation and Continue Improvement of production
-Daily equipment preventative maintenance and trouble-shooting, spare parts management for key equipment in production floor
-Create clear work package for project members or function leaders to get enough resource and support
-Time Study & Calculation of production cost within the standards of PCM Time Study & production cost Dept.
-Kaizen and Lean Projects-related production/logistics process engineering activities
-Other assignment from Engineering Manager
Assist in:
-Quality-related Industrial Process Planning activities
-Logistics-related Industrial Process Planning activities
-Marketing-related Industrial Process Planning activities
-Sourcing-related Industrial Process Planning activities
-Phase-in/Phase-out-related Industrial Process Planning activities
-Risk Prevention/Management-related Industrial Process Planning activities
-Efficiency, yield, workplace safety, environmental requirements-related Industrial Process Planning activities
-Creation, editing, updating and reviewing of routings, BOMs, KMATs, work instructions and engineering change requests, SAP / MIKE / TSP Master Data, engineering & production standards and work instruction
-Education, training in terms of product structure, production & engineering process
