Job Specifications:
1.Bachelor's degree in engineering with specific course work in the quality sciences (e.g., Statistical Process Control [SPC], Compliance Engineering, Supplier Relations);
2.Four (4) to six (6) years of related quality/reliability/product development engineering experience;
3.Ability to apply advanced mathematical and engineering concepts and statistical techniques;
4.Working knowledge and application of ISO quality standards;
5.Excellent oral and written communications skills. Demonstrated experience in writing reports is required;
6.High proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, statistical and presentation software;
7.Requires the ability to work in a team environment and a high level of self-motivation;
8.Ability to regularly contact, influence and negotiate with individuals internal and external the organization on complex issues;
9.Capable of responding to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community;
10.Ability to effectively present information to internal and external groups (e.g., management, engineering);
11.Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant certifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications. Assignments have clear and specified objectives. Develops own resources to solve problems and provides imaginative solutions to a variety of moderately complex problems. Assumes responsibility for a definable portion of a project.
2.Work assignments will focus on ensuring process capability, control and improvement by developing procedures and interpreting standards for defined product line or facility. Develops the application of tools, methods and systems to ensure continuous performance improvements. Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and product equipment.
3.Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
4.Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to determine responsibilities. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
5.Support R&D and NPI team on advanced product quality planning for new product to ensure key quality control points are addressed before mass production.
