? Assures that suppliers have the capacity to meet our current and future needs as well as on-going upside capacity to satisfy unplanned demands. ? Conducts research to identify qualified vendors for assigned material or initiates contact to Approved Vendor List provided by customer. ? Supports the development and maintenance of effective supplier relationships to achieve company goals to include achieving schedule, reducing material lead times, improving quality, reliable delivery ? Takes initiative in recognizing and proposing process improvement opportunities. ? Maintains and enters all NPI BOM and related structures into inventory systems and coordinates add, change and delete requests with appropriate Engineer. ? Performs follow-up activities to expedite the delivery of goods/services with each vendor, this will include delivery tracking and validation of actual correct and timely delivery. ? Performs internal follow-up activity to ensure material and quantity is received properly, accurately and in a timely manner so that material flows to designated location as required by program or customer requirements. ? Maintains working knowledge of materials and sources to make purchases price consistent with, or lower than, company or customer price levels. ? Maintains Vendor Quality scorecards and ensures quality and delivery from vendors meets our requirements for quality and delivery time. ? Coordinates with Program Manager and Operations Supervisors/Managers for all customer interaction and development of customer requirements ? Maintains Backlog, Shortage, Forecast, and various other reports, as required, to support program and order management. ? Communicates clear and concise information in a positive, professional manner, to both internal and external customers. ? Other duties as assigned. This position based in ShenZhen
