• Sources indirect goods and services, ensuring safe, competitive TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), high quality and timely supply
• For assigned plant(s) within region/cluster (developing necessary strategic and commercial aspects)
• For assigned categories within region/cluster (developing necessary strategic and commercial aspects and coordinating implementation within region)
• Ensures communication with and buy in from the site managers within assigned plants

Sourcing

• Provide allnex and assigned production site(s) with sufficient reliable and compliant sources of supply, with competitive prices and on-spec deliveries
• Implement sourcing strategies and supply agreement for assigned site(s) in alignment with Management and peers
• Negotiate supply agreements with local suppliers
• Draft and execute sourcing strategies (supplier selection, negotiation and contract definition) for assigned categories of indirect goods and services for the region, developing knowledge of internal needs and external factors - Liaise with peers for deployment of those strategies at regional, cluster and local level
• Set savings plan, (improvement) targets and monitor suppliers performance for assigned site(s)
• Work in close co-operation with respective key stakeholders, e.g., site management, engineering, SHE, peers etc.
• Seek synergy, and where appropriate, support, working with cross functional stakeholders
• Act as primary contact towards key suppliers and develop strong partnerships with these suppliers for assigned categories within the Region. Make sure supplier performance against agreed upon key performance indicators is reviewed and action plans for continuous improvement are defined.

Financial

• Drive the optimisation of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• Manage cost saving pipeline to ensure regional/cluster targets for cost reduction are met
• Manage OWC reduction programs within assigned categories/cluster

Reporting

• Ensure availability of means for clear and consistent reporting towards stakeholders regarding cost development and supply issues

Other basic accountabilities

• Ensure buy-in from allnex community (especially managers of assigned site(s)) for defined strategies and organise communication around possible changes affecting community
• Be involved in cost development plans (assigned plant(s)) and ensures that procurement savings initiatives are aligned with it.
• Support and drive development (process, organisational and personal development), identifying and participating in operational improvement initiatives
• Make sure standard purchasing work processes are implemented and followed.
• Act as main interface with local operations at site level
• Be key user SAP

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience within a procurement environment (including strategic purchasing and contract development and negotiation)
• Technical affinity, experience with procurement of industrial goods & services (best within the area of competence)

Specific skills

• Capability of working in cross-functional and cross-cultural setting and within remote network; negotiation skills, convincing and target minded; good and quick decision maker; planning and implementation skills; due to the variety of tasks, flexibility is mandatory with the capability to set priorities
• Language Skills: Fluent in English. Other languages are a strong asset.

Problem solving

• Development of multi-aspect sourcing scenario’s, balancing purchasing price benefits, rebates, risk management (supply, quality) and working capital.

Education minimum Bachelor degree, in Economics, Engineering and/or MBA or equivalent by experience
