As Senior Program Manager for high-volume manufacturing, you play a fundamental role in the end-to-end lifecycle of product development programs, from inception of an idea through shipment to our customers. You also work with the customer's supply base to deliver new and innovative products on-time, at quantity and quality, and meeting or beating cost goals. Your responsibility includes quick "ramp up" of the End2End processes, continuous development of tools that improve communication, provision of advanced manufacturing experience and guidance to the team to the end goal of delivering a high quality hardware product. As such, you will be expected to have strong program management skills, extremely high bandwidth and the ability to quickly understand and contribute to products as they are initially built and brought to mass production in China. You are expected to help solve complex technical issues, establish patterns and practices, and provide technical leadership to the entire team.

Key Roles:

l Leader for integrating Hardware development, Software & All cross functional group deliverables to enable a seamless and effective project management.

l Accountable for the execution of all engineering builds, process validation and ramp and success of the product launch.

Key Responsibilities:

l To have in depth understanding of the product technical requirements, various groups milestones and interdependencies for establishing an accurate and effective Project infrastructure.

l To participate in Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and supporting supplier selection decisions.

l To establish clear goals and objectives and Roles & Responsibilities among the cross functional groups.

l To be responsible for effective management of risks and dependencies while ensuring timely decisions are being made, ensuring quality of the product.

l To manage and drive the build readiness, including BOM, equipment, the line, resources and daily progress or yield reporting plan for the success product build.

l To have overall monitor and control on the project and product scope, cost, schedule and final deliverables for meeting stakeholder's expectations.

l To be comfortable interacting with senior management at Contract Manufacturers and demonstrate ability to communicate and present to all levels of management.

Qualifications:

l A minimum of 10 years of work experience in manufacturing related Program or Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. This experience must include a minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably involving electronics fabrication and injection molding.

l Additional experience and knowledge in high-tech products is a significant advantage. International experience preferred, with the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally a must. Supplier management experience preferred.

l Candidate must demonstrate advanced knowledge in manufacturing disciplines; possess excellent communications and leadership skills; the ability to work well with cross functional groups and the ability to work independently with remote supervision.

l Strong communication skills in English and Chinese required.

l B.S. degree required and M.S. preferred.
