Overall Purpose of Job

· The senior manager position in the AP program management offices responsible for AP program management related organization & competency development, process & systems and improvement activities, such as but not limited to program management process & system harmonization, development and implementation, AP program management KPI measurement and performance improvement, AP core PM competency planning and development, and interfacing with plant operation managers, PL chief engineers, purchasing etc. to ensure GDPIM process & Clarity systems being fully implemented in order to meet AP program safe launches in the desired ways of efficiency and effectiveness.

Major Responsibilities

Participate and Contribute for regional PM organization structure planning, building up & development;
Be responsible for AP regional PM process & system harmonization/standardization, best practice sharing, institutionalization in line with global program management practices
Develop systematic approach in program resource planning, program management team organizational set-up while benchmarking global best practices cross-product lines and external industry players such as competitors
Be AP point of contact to global program management organization in driving PM new process & systems changes and implementations
Be AP regional PM operational, leading and organizing regular PM operational review such as weekly program reviews and monthly status review (MSR)
Lead weekly AP program management escalation meetings and addressing the escalations to relevant management/teams for solutions
Lead and organize program GDPIM milestone reviews cross-all product lines
Drive cross-functional team such as engineering, purchasing, AME and plants etc. to utilize program management systems (Clarity) to ensure the status being updated to date
Be key interface to AP quality management organization in solving project quality issues and customer complaints
Integrate and analyze AP PM KPI and performance monthly and identifying action plan together with PL PM managers
Develop PM competency development plan and execution plan in conjunction with AP HR training manager and competency development lead
Lead and organize monthly AP program management communication session

Education & Work Experience

Education: Bachelor's, or master's degree, MBA or/and PMI is a plus

Language: Regional language skills essential; Excellent English communication skills

Experience:

· Minimum 8-10 years working experience at manufacturing industry;

· 6-7 years automotive industry experience with quality, operation, PM, engineering related functional expertise.

· Strong experience in driving process & systems changes & implementation

· At least 5 years managerial OR regional management working experience on PM, Quality, Operation, Engineering, functions
