Reporting to: China Healthcare Leader and team

Job Description &Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager will work with our China based Healthcare team advising public and private sector Healthcare clients on strategy variety of strategic, operational and policy matters in line with PwC’s plans to grow its Healthcare practice in the region; The Assistant Manager will be:

· Providing on-ground support for HK/China based Managers on full project delivery; · Performing in-depth research and analysis on Healthcare industry, market, customers, competitors, and/or target companies
based on primary and secondary research;
· Preparing high-quality summaries and analyses of results of research work, including PowerPoint slides, preparing market and financial models;
· Working with senior members of the team in applying research and analysis results to the strategic issue faced by the client;
· Assisting senior members of the team on industry or company profiling, focused sector research, proposal preparation, etc
· Interacting with clients on project work under supervision of the relevant project Managers · Responsible for providing specific local insights on the HK/S China public and private sector healthcare markets to the broader team to facilitate project delivery and business development

Requirements

· Master degree holder from good local or overseas university, major in Pharmaceutical or Medical related studies will be given priority; Economics, Finance or Business Administration related studies will be considered;

• Minimum 4 years of practice and/or consulting experience in Healthcare or Health Services industries; Healthcare related projects experience in consulting firms is also preferred;
• Bilingual in English and Cantonese (speaking, listening,writing, typing and reading) with good command of Mandarin;
• Self-motivated, well-organized, can-do attitude and good problem solving skills;
• Friendly-attitude – cheerful and diligent;
• Aptitude in standard computer software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
