Key duties include:

·          The IT Supervisor is responsible for maintain, implement, monitor and upgrade, WAN/LAN, Lease Line, Firewall, Router, Hub and Switch within Gates Shanghai WGQ and HQ office by ensuring all are configured correctly, working efficiently and working stable.

    

·          IT infrastructure support; inclusive of network devices, server room, server systems and company phone system maintenance support as well as day-to-day IT operations and administration support.

    

·          Diagnose and troubleshoot all the PC hardware and software issues in accordance with corporate policies, standards and procedures. In charge of IT asset management including procurement and inventory management, perform PC hardware maintenance arrangement and reimaging activities

    

·          Responsible for supporting user-end IT requirements and maintain high user satisfaction of IT service. Provide effective service for end users.

    

·          Ensure global security strategy are implemented in Gates India correctly.

    

·          Work with Global Network/Server COE team to coordinate the regional/global infrastructure projects.

    

·          Work closely with regional IT Infrastructure manager to plan, organize, control, monitor and evaluate local IT Infrastructure needs and operations

    

·          Manage data backup as part of the disaster recovery plan.

    

·          Responsible for maintaining the local IT infrastructure to ensure the system stability and reliability.

    

·          Responsible for purchasing, auditing, metering, tracking and monitoring IT system usage; ensure that corporate IT standards and procedures are being implemented and maintained.

    

·          Conduct and/or facilitate training for employees on software / hardware / new IT tools & processes

    

·          Control IT expenses and ensure cost effectiveness

    

·          Establish and support a positive work environment based mutual respect, honesty, team work and continuous improvement.

    

    

    

Education and Experience:

  Diploma    /Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent 

Minimum 5-10years of IT working experience in a manufacturing and MNC environment. 

Experience in designing Network Architecture, managing CISCO Networks and Firewall, as well as Internet routing protocols and technologies.

    

Required Skills:

    

·         Possess professional certification of CISCO CCNA/CCNP.

    

·         Good verbal and written English communication skills

    

·         Good communication skills, system thinking and systematic problem solving skills

    

·         Able to work with the team or independently with minimum supervision

    

·         Self-motivated and eager to learn
