Business Development
Assist the IMT teams to identify and cultivate potential opportunities with key clients in their respective territories
Plan, coordinate, and/or participate in specific business development opportunities
Participate in Industry/Service Line joint marketing campaigns and specific events that are held within the IMT geographies, by making speeches, writing articles, and assisting in demonstrations
Sales Pursuit
Provide Industry/Service Line domain Subject Matter Expertise to assist in developing the proposed technical solution, project plan, and resource estimates.
Assist in developing the overall value proposition for the proposed deal
Help coordinate the participation of critical IBM Brand resources and third party vendor professionals needed to craft the solution
Advise the sales pursuit team on IBM assets and accelerators
Write sections of the proposal documents, including the technical solution, roles and responsibilities, value proposition, and the cost case
Participate in preparation of proposal presentations; and present and explain the proposed solution to the customer
Participate in developing the overall Win Strategy and engagement plan
Assist in completing the development, negotiation, approval, and management of the bid budget
Delivery
Provide part time "on demand" assistance to resolve critical open issues that arise throughout the delivery life cycle
Advise the IBM delivery team, as well as the customer, regarding key decisions related to unique Industry/Service Line specific systems and operations
Help establish project staffing and governance, assist with project plan development, coordinate project kick-off activities
Provide SME support, perform project reviews, help troubleshoot project issues
Solution Development
Assist S&D, SWG, STG, GTS, BTO, and the IMT GBS teams to partner with third party ISVs and NEPs to develop joint go to market solutions for the Industry
Develop the Technical Solution, Project Plan, and Resource Estimates to complete the joint solution
Prepare the funding requests, and negotiate approval of the funding from the IBM Industry Solution Board (ISB), S&D Industry, GBS, GTS, SWG, STG, and the appropriate third party business partners, such as Comverse, Oracle, etc.
Manage the joint solution development projects
Collaborating cross-brand and cross-geo to bring the full-breadth solution to clients and to the industry
Expertise with IBM Smarter Commerce - Sterling Commerce product At least 5-7 years experience
Expertise in application of Sterling Commerce in order management solutions At least 5-7 years experience
Experience in order management transformation and application implementation consulting At least 5-77 years experience
Experience in estimating, determining resource requirements, defining delivery models, At least 5 years experience
3-5 years experience driving asset based solutioning and delivery At least 3 years experience
3-5 years experience defining selling strategy, deal structure, participating proposal creation, and participating in orals presentation At least 3 years experience
Strong executive presence and experienced at managing CXO level relationships
Ability to accommodate extensive global/regional travel (70% or more)
Excellent written and verbal English skills
