Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

–         Primarily responsible for maintenance of the inventory planning system. This system applies our inventory strategies (both service and order) to the purchases for SABIC.

–         Reviews and analyzes planning data to prepare reports for management review.

–         Identifies and recommends enhancements to supply chain systems to improve utilization of inventory.

–         Handle daily PR. Work with SABIC cross functional teams.

Continuous Improvement:

–         Identify CI opportunities and lead or participate on CI projects

Preferred Education & Experience

–         Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain Management fundamentals, including inventory planning, DC operations, purchasing and transportation.

–         Demonstrated experience in driving results through a diverse set of business processes and problem solving

–        Strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration within team, with business partners, and with cross-functional stakeholders.

–         Systemic thinking and problem solving. Ability to influence decisions with teams without direct management responsibility.

–         Demonstrated ability to multitask, quickly learn and become competent in, and effectively apply new skills.

–         Financial acumen, with a focus on understanding the cost/benefit of varying solutions.

–         Exposure to SAP and BW desirable.

–         Experience in project management a plus.

–         Ability to foster, manage and leverage relationships at varying levels internally & externally up to the executive level.
