Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

New product introduction: 1. Provide manufacturing cost profile , budget , responsible manufacturing cost analysis , risk assessment , cost saving , optimization . 2. Work with EMDF on manufacturing system setup (BOM , routing , work station working instruction ,inspection instruction, tools/fixture design ,…etc.) , plan/design/optimize the manufacturing process and configuration management . 3. Design for manufacturing , work with the design team to ensure all product and system requirements are taken into account during the design and development phase . 4. Support sourcing, facilities on manufacturing equipment procurement , and manufacturing line setup. 5. Work with quality team and hardware team on testing/ inspection specification development . 6.Operation team training . Operations: 1. Shop floor support , trouble shooting , process optimizing , root cause analysis with quality team , take corrective action , create rework or repair routing and working instruction . Implement TPM program and SMED . 2. Cost control , technology innovation and optimizing to achieve cost, lead time and quality goals . 3. Take lead on Manufacturing engineering KPIs , and prepare relevant operation reports , and as focal to the other function team .

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor degree in Electrical or aeronautical engineering or other closely related technical discipline . 2. Over 6 years solid experience in manufacturing engineering , electrical manufacturing , EMS or Aviation industry in MNC is preferred. 3. Familiar with manufacturing environment , ability to design manufacturing drawings for fixtures and gages and other tools necessary for product manufacturing .s 5. Effectively communication in oral & written English. 6. Lean &6Sigama background.

Desired Characteristics

Rich experience on manufacturing engineering , rich experience on new manufacturing line setup and product transfer from oversea. Proficient in Auto CAD , Master Cam is preferred , understand B/P notes , specifications , or other necessary documentation written in English . Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt preferred Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and communications skills Rich experience on the multi sites and global working enviornments . Strong problem solving, quantative, and analytical skillss Ability to work in high stress situations Experience in Aviation indusrty Ability to organize and prioritize work and to meet deadlines Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects Demonstrated oral and written communication skills in English
