1.    In charge of the China Origination risk position monitoring and reporting process, Standardize the position reporting processes of China which also fits the requirement of Asia. This involves risk position sources from AS400 systems.

2.    Manage the daily trading gross margin estimates reporting from AS400. Coordinate with the trading function to review the estimates and resolve any mark-to-market/LOCOM, costings and contract pricings issues impacting the estimates. Work closely with the trader and controlling functions to reconcile actual vs estimates results each month.

3.    Coordinate clearing account administration processes (opening, amendments to clearing) new products (exchange traded or OTC) and user profiles administration in risk management/trading platforms.

4.    Responsible to monitor compliance with Company risk policies

5.    Primary contact with Risk function to monitor and resolve risk position and VAR reporting issues.

6.    Patriciate in month-end closing & other GL work when needed.

7.    Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Requirements:

1.    Degree in economics, accounting or business administration

2.    Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial, controlling or risk reporting roles in the agribusiness commodity business.

3.    Extensive knowledge of commodity valuation concepts (mark-to-market, lower of cost and net realizable value)

4.    Good knowledge of Incoterms and commodity trade execution processes

5.    Exposure to key commodity trading instruments (forward cash contracts, basis/premium contracts, futures, options)
