Department: Center Operations
Reports to: Regional VP

Essential Duties:
- This role is a leader and coach, someone who can guide the center managers to develop community based center strategies, problem-solve, and drive business results.
- A majority of time is spent developing center management talent, overseeing the area’s center management workforce, making management staffing decisions, ensuring area-wide guest satisfaction and academic quality, managing the area's sales and financial performance, and ensuring safety and security within the area.
- The purpose of the role is to insure every English Learning Center have flawless and consistent execution of national strategies and planning to provide a consistent and uniquely English learning experience for kids.
- The District Manager is responsible to role model and to inspire their team (center managers) to anticipate and exceed internal and external guests’ needs by ensuring that each center executes the English learning promise and service standards.
Lead, guide and coach center managers in the district to ensure them
- Inspiring and leading center teams including operations, academic, and sales, on a daily basis to ensure cast member engagement, collaboration and achievement of business results.
- Continually reinforce the English culture to maintain a positive environment through the delivering of the English learning experience to children, parents and cast members.
- Coaching and training center cast members in line with capability and customer needs to enable the team achieving all established KPI and targets.
Execution of national plans
- Drives the implementation of company programs by motivating and supporting the center management team.
- Works with management team to support area-wide operations and to execute area and national initiatives such as academics, operations, marketing & sales, human resources, finance, and real estate development.
Strategic Leadership / Direction
- Partner with Center Managers and national functional heads to iidentify all center level performance issues and to create and implement timely solutions.
- Coach Center Managers to review center environments and key business indicators within the area to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement in order to take action and achieve operational goals.
- Provides performance consultation to center managers in the core areas of the business – academics, sales and operations.
P&L responsibility
- Utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in area performance.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years experience in managing a location based fast growing retail or service / guest experience business as district or area manager.
- Multi-location management experience.
- Experience in taking P&L responsibility with knowledge/ability in guest experience, operation, marketing, sales, people management etc..
- Experience in working in matrix organization.
- Fluent English Speaker
- Bachelor degree or above required.
- Have a high entrepreneurial spirit and creativity to grow and improve the business.
- Strong multi-location management ability.
- People leadership and strong coaching skill.
- Know how to collaborate and integrate resources under matrix organization.
- Strategic problem solving skills.
