职位描述

Purchasing Specialist

 

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Ensure the smooth daily operation of PO placement and tracking, and solve the issues in a timely manner with cross-functions.

 

He/she will achieve this mission by:

·       MM maintenance in SAP regularly

·       Article setup in adiPortal TM accurately

·       Order placement in time to catch launch plan

·       Order tracking to ensure on-time delivery

·       Delay/partial/shortage/FOB coordination and communication

·       Report/analysis providing to PO Assistant Manager

 

Key Responsibilities: 

·       Check article extension & master data flow from RMA in AFS and perform article maintenance in SAP by adding local attributes and ensuring its accuracy

·       Maintain article local attributes in adiPortal in a timely manner and ensure accuracy/consistency with SAP

·       Select articles into Trade Meeting in adiPortal and maintain correct size range & SRD

·       Maintain actual cutoff information into HUB. Ensure the filled data is prompt and correct

·       Provide range feedback to MOPS based on SAP MRP & Buy Plan results on regular basis according to GTM timeline.

·       Place purchase orders based on senior management approval decision according to cut-off timeline and monitor min check as well as order confirmation through SAP.

·       Provide article level standard cost to Finance for maintenance in SAP and release articles for GR in SAP accordingly

·       Track order status to make sure suppliers confirm the delivery date in accordance with the requested date and do arrange shipment based on commitment

·       Manage delay/partial/shortage with supplier, Category Merchandising and Finance, with minimized impact on business. Take proper action in SAP to make sure all system information are well maintained.

 

Financial

·       Run YPOC and ZPOC to update price in SAP and work closely with sourcing and Product Marketing to verify FOB quotation.

·       Follow the overage/shortage delivery till it gets fully resolved

 

Systems

·       Ensure all POs are created in the SAP in a timely manner based on MRP result and make sure all orders with different plant/different stock category are placed correctly by size b/d.

·       Tracking orders through SAP in a timely manner and communicate any changes to relevant department

·       Draft system manual

 

Key Relationships: 

Internal

·       Marketing Dept. including Category Marketing, MOPs and Sports Promotion; Logistics, OBF, Finance, Sales Operations, OM and Global Supply Planning

External

·       Suppliers, customers (for special programs only)

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 Knowledge / Experience

·       Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the logistic/operation/sourcing department in a global consumer goods brand

·       Strong knowledge and background of purchasing and operating and sourcing

·       Self-motivated and able to work independently

·       Must be thorough and possess a strong attention to detail

·       Have certain knowledge of textile, footwear or sports product market in China

 

PC/Language/Other Skills

·       Fluent English & Mandarin

·       Excellent Excel skills

·       SAP system

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
