职位描述
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Business Leadership
1. Responsible for sales generation in an assigned geographic area including market penetration, new opportunity development, customer relations, and customer retention.
2. Collaborate to create, execute, and measure sales and marketing tactics that are required by Company strategy and financial objectives.
3. Develop and implement local marketing programs and implement national marketing initiatives.
4. Maximize gross profit opportunity by insuring price integrity.
5. Integrate all internal and external resources to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
6. Provide feedback to organization on barriers to success.
Resource Management
1. Work with sales management to ensure coordinated leadership of sales performance and resource allocation.
2. Manage strategic brand relationships
Human Resources
1. Select, develop, train, and retain top talent.
2. Identify and develop strong contributors through the use of Performance Excellence
3. Manage Account Manager Performance metrics, including but not limited to customer satisfaction, customer retention, and account penetration.
4. Provide effective and on-going coaching and development
Operational Responsibility
1. Communicate in an organized, clear and brief manner to effectively express ideas, plans, actions, projects, and engagements, which support customer business activity
2. Assist Sales Team with accomplishing individual and team sales goals by identifying and classifying both existing & potential account opportunities and by establishing call priorities and frequencies
3. Assist in the development and implementation of account penetration plans and strategies including regular account business reviews for key customers in order to maximize sales within existing accounts
4. Direct engagement with contacts at key customer sites who can initiate an order or influence a buying decision
5. Demonstrates full compliance to company sales and pricing guidelines
6. Demonstrate ability of consistently overachieving the financial and sales objectives
7. Consistently seeks new product knowledge and understands competitive environment
8. Fully leverage all resources and technical support provided by Grainger
9. Assist Account Managers on large acct development and final negotiations of annual agreements
10. Assist the sales manager on key account planning and goal setting for the territory
Education & Experience:
1. Must have leadership skills that are consistent with the Grainger Values
2. Effective communicator. Capable of speaking in an effective and influential manner to professional sellers, and customers.
3. High proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
4. 3 year College degree or equivalent experience (degree preferred)
5. Minimum of 5 years of direct Sales Management experience. Global/Multinational Organization experience is a plus.
6. Demonstrate successful strategic planning, problem solving, and time management and organization skills.
7. Demonstrate competence in the application of computer software and technology that supports sales objectives (i.e. MS Windows Applications).
8. Develop and maintain effective internal partner relationships and relationships with customers so that objectives can be achieved.
9. Must have excellent presentation skills, strong customer focus, and ability to manage change.
10. Must be able to motivate, inspire, and achieve results through others.
11. Understands financial reporting and ability to analyze business needs and costs/budgets.
12. Relocation flexibility is a plus.
13. Must have driving license and car.
14. Extensive travel is required.
