KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Design and implement image processor / video codec related algorithm and firmware solutions for new products
- Closely interact with ASIC design team and solution team in new feature definition and bring up for future product generation
- Collaborating closely with other software, hardware and architecture teams to define software component requirements and designs
- Improve customer satisfaction and product quality by solving technical problems, customer support and optimizations
- Collaborate and interface with local and global management, development and test teams to deliver a complete product solution

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- BS/MS in EE with 2-20 years of related experience
- Have participated in bringing new product to market, from architecture and specification through documentation, market release and customer support
- Passionate about software development and enjoy working close to the hardware
- Proficient in C/C++ with strong software development, optimization, and debugging skills
- Experience on camera /ISP firmware design or algorithm design is highly desirable
- Experience on RTOS software design is highly desirable
- Experience on Tensilica software design is highly desirable
- Familiar with video / image processing hardware pipelines is highly desirable
- Familiar with video processing algorithms, color spaces, HDR, and video codecs is preferred
- Familiar with algorithms of video / image processing and codecs is preferred
- Hands-on FPGA development experience, including design software and design verification is preferred
- Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal required
- Must be able to work independently and also in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
