职位描述
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver mechanical systems of pedestrian door solutions to meet market needs, applicable regulatory and industry standards
2. Provide project technology leadership in terms of hands-on mechanical design during new product developments, continue engineering and value engineering
3. Report pertinent information regularly on team or project status through clear spoken and written communications
4. Provide leadership/mentoring to junior mechanical engineers
Key Accountabilities:
1. Transform market requirements and concepts into technical specifications and detailed mechanical designs.
2. Identify and analyze mechanical design problems to achieve optimal solutions that satisfy cost and technical requirements
3. Support design reviews, both customer and internal as required
4. Perform the appropriate tolerance and reliability analysis as well as FMEA ensuring products or parts fit appropriately in a low to medium production volume
5. Participate in project planning and meet committed timelines
6. Monitor testing and analyze data to verify performance of the prototype product to customer and design specifications. Review and approve test reports
7. Work with suppliers and manufacturing to fabricate both prototype and production tooling
Specific Skills / Background Required (if any) :
1. Master or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. 5 years or above full lifecycle mechanical product development experience with project management senses
3. Strong design skills of designing mechanism and transmission systems as well as mechanical parts
4. Experience in manufacturing processes, such as casting, machining, stamping
5. Good knowledge of GD&T and its applications
6. Proficient in mechanical design software, such as Pro-E, Solidworks
7. Team player with demonstrated commitment to growth and continuous improvement
8. Good command of spoken and written English is must
9. Willingness to change and Can-Do attitude
