What the job involves:

• analysis of supply markets for the prescribed purchase field
• carrying out of price and value analyses
• evaluating and clarifying of logistical problems
• drawing up proposals for inclusion of new suppliers in cooperation with other departments involved
• coordinating and supporting development of suppliers
• negotiating respectively renegotiating with suppliers, if necessary in a foreign language -usually English
• negotiating about quantities, prices, delivery dates, delivery terms
• placing of orders, checking and administering of order confirmations
• performing of purchasing and materials management activities also in the case of difficult
  technical articles and products
• performing of order management and additionally supervising of delivery dates, placing reclamations if necessary, clarifying open details and checking of invoices
• preparing necessary information for Supply Chain Department
• well structured, organized, efficient and accurate working method
• personality: good team work, passion, stability and visionary thinking
• non smoker or can bear not to smoke during working times

Your skills:

• Bachelor degree in technical engineer, material science or MBA
• at least 3 years of corresponding professional and qualified purchasing experience / supply chain management, metal, chain or related industory is preferred
• fluent English in speaking/reading/writing
• advanced skills in Office-Software (especially Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook), SAP knowledge is an advance
• well structured, organized, efficient and accurate working method
• personality: Good team work, passion, stability and visionary thinking
• non smoker or can bear not to smoke during working times
