Position Overview:
As Manufacturing Engineer you will be part of a Welch Allyn Greenfield start up in the province of Suzhou. Being a member of the new production transfer project team you will be responsible for training operators, solving problems encountered, improving the production procedure and ensuring the process runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
With responsibility for the production line you will analyze and improve the assembly process, ensure productivity continuous improvement, implement lean production methods and measure process handling time.

Your previous experience in assembly of high quality products will assist you when dealing with tools and fixtures for new projects and normal production along with your responsibility for SOP. Continuous improvement of the assembly process to reduce the risk of injury will also be key. You will also work closely with the quality team to ensure continuous improvement of production quality.

Required Background:
Successful candidates will have a college degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of three years of experience in assembly of high quality products is required. WOFE experience would be a distinct advantage. You will also have the ability to conduct internal/external audits and coordinate corrective and preventative actions. Your excellent communication and relationship building skills will be instrumental to your success. You will also be a self starter, have strong PC skills and are familiar with AutoCAD. A good command of English is essential.
