Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

• Producing new products on analytical instrument and monitoring solutions, generating product specifications, schematic capture, PCB layout, failure modes and effects analysis, design simulation, hardware certification, prototype builds, generating applicable product documentation - BOMs, Control drawings, etc., obtaining agency approval, and managing all development activities • Working with project leaders, insure that the products being developed meet reliability, customer, cost, and schedule targets. Participate system level design reviews and EE design reviews provide feedback and suggestions. • Interact with other technical discipline teams to offer EE expertise while driving overall product optimization and innovation. Originates conceptual designs with new technology, and secures intellectual property • Responsible for assisting, communicating, and resolving issues with customers, suppliers, manufacturing and production engineers • Support other projects in organization as electronics engineer. • Some travel (occasionally with little notice) is required to customers, suppliers, off site engineering centers, problem field sites, or manufacturing facilities

Qualifications/Requirements

• BS or above degree in computer, electronics, instrument or closely related field • At least 3 years of experience in various types of electronics design • Good oral and written communication skills in English • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills to contribute as part of a cross-functional development team • Passion on technology and product development

Desired Characteristics

• Have experience in commercial product developing team, understanding all kinds of risks for development in a real environment and abatement strategies • 1 year+ experience of software (such as firmware, instrument control software) developing in research project or product developing work• Knowledge of automatic control or remote monitoring & diagnostics • It will be better to have some experience in sensor development
