Job Summary
- Work with internal customers and suppliers in support of supplier development and certification and the establishment of process equivalence.
- Provide technical support to internal customers and suppliers for activities related to supplier quality system assessment, performance evaluation, and supplier development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Liaise with internal customers to ensure effective problem resolution. Develop metrics and report. Identify supplier non-conformance trends.
- Coordinate and participate in supplier conference calls.
- Plan, execute and deliver projects effectively within defined time/cost parameters.
- Track supplier quality performance measurements for strategic suppliers.
- Lead supplier visits and supplier audits.
- Lead and participate in supplier development projects
Qualifications and Work Experience Required
- Min 3 years working experience in Supplier Management and track record of quarterly cost reduction in Electro-mechanical commodity.
- Min 3 years working experience in Electro-mechanical Manufacturing environment.
- Min 3 years as Supply Chain or Purchasing management in Electro-mechanical contract manufacturing organization.
- Min 3 years of experience in working with low cost region suppliers.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical drawings in Metal and Plastic Fabricated parts.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and accomplish work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in various disciplines and on multi-national teams.
Education and Special Training Required
- Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or other related field of study.
- Excellent working knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP system.
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
