DIMENSIONS OF POSITION:
Responsible for milling, insert preparation, molding, secondary operation, inspection & packaging all process. Per WI4-5002 this position has the authority to shut down production due to quality related issues.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
*Education:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent experience.



Has daily contact with General Manager, Human Reources Department, Logistics and Planning, Process Engineers, Quality Engineer, Maintenance, technical and all Production people. Has frequent contact with all other department managers in regard to consistent,profitable and on time plant performance.
Accountability
1.Directs and manages production department to achieve company goals with respect to safety, quality, productivity, on time delivery, and cost.
2.Works closely with quality department for customer audit, quality problem solving, corrective action plan implementation to continuously improve the production quality level.

3.Achieves maximum efficiency and productivity of supervisors and production workers through standardization of work and team efforts. Leads production team continuous improvement to improve quality, productivity, reduce production cost, shorten production lead time, improve customer satisfaction and achieve company financial objectives.
4.Encourages efficient and safe utilization of equipment and facilities. Initiates and recommends updating and purchasing of new equipment for purposes of safety and productivity.
5.Manages performance objectives, measurements, and performance review process for supervisors, team leaders and operators to engage them in improvement in quality, productivity and cost. Works closely with the HR department to reduce turn over rate and build a strong production team.
6.Maintains compliance with company policies and safety management system. Ensures operation procedures and work instructions well followed in production department. Review the training process and make sure all kind of training effectively conducted.

7.Coordinates with Logistics and Planning to project labor requirements as needed to assure on time deliveries and efficient operations.
8.Manages overtime, work schedules and employee morale in all shifts. Communicates with the production team in all levels to promote effective two way information shared. Ensures information displayed in work floor up to date.
9.Ensures production floor is clean, tidy and nice organized everyday. Builds visual factory displays.

10.Performs other duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.
