BASIC FUNCTION



This position will provide expertise and leadership with an outstanding opportunity to become a key player with an industry leader. He will be the "expert" when it comes to transducer testing at the Suzhou plant.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES



1. Develop and maintain manufacturing test process (procedure, work instruction and forms) for transducers.

2. Working closely with corporate Test Engineering group to design, specify and implement test equipments.

3. Design and fabricate test tooling and fixtures to support new product launches and continuous improvement activities.

4. Responsible for collecting test data per established procedures and create/maintain test limits per part number on base line and finishing cells.

5. Establish & perform preventative maintenance activities on test equipments, tooling and fixtures.

6. Provide production line support in day to day operations i.e. test equipment and program trouble shooting.

7. Develop and perform annual calibration and R & R studies on test equipments (P500)

8. Provide training and trouble shooting support to production related to acoustic test results.

9. Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

10. Some occasional travel (including international travel) is required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS



Education: Electrical or Audio Engineering Degree



Experience:

· Minimum 3 years experience in automotive manufacturing environment.

· Acoustic testing experience preferred. Knowledge with P500 test equipment and software is a big plus.

· Working knowledge of electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts preferred.

· Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, diagrams, engineering specifications and operating instructions.

· Familiarity with Windows based computer software applications. Ability to learn basic DOS operating system.

· Must be able to communicate in English and Chinese professionally (verbal as well as written)
