Responsibility:



Experience in a manufacturing environment is desired. Rubber and plastic manufacturing experience is preferred.
Experience with statistical tools such as statistical process control and gauge R & R's.
Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen workshop, Lean Enterprise, and the DMAIC process.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering related field or equivalent experience.
Certification as a Lean Practitioner or equivalent experience.
Certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent experience.



To coordinate Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma continuous improvement activities in alignment with existing Minnesota Rubber and Plastics policies and procedures. To support improvement of quality performance metrics (efficiency, waste reduction and quality) within the plant and intra-plant activity as required.
