ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Maintains all operational and support equipment at peak efficiency.
? Establishes and maintains the PMS (Planned Maintenance Systems). Carries out all recommended periodic maintenance in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines.
? Formulates and implements Company policies and develops short and long range goals and objectives to achieve budgetary and corporate established goals.
? Maintains a close working relationship with all departments to maintain full operational capacity.
? Implements Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe and clean working environment of all maintenance and plant personnel.
? Manages maintenance costs with adherence to established budget. Identifies and directs implementation of projects and programs to increase equipment reliability, plant efficiency and productivity, safe operation and improvement of quality.
? Manages discipline of maintenance department employees working with all personnel to maximize individual potential.
? Representative of the Quality Management and Environment Management program with implementation and compliance of ISO9001 and ISO14001.
? Establishes training programs to improve equipment knowledge, motivation and personal development of reporting personnel. Promote the Company's human resource programs with a strong emphasis on safety and working in a safe and environmental friendly work place.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment with 5 years' experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance. Experience in maintenance of plastic extrusion equipment a plus. Past personal supervisory experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineer with a high mechanical aptitude or Mechanical Engineering with a high electrical aptitude. Advanced degree highly desirable. Skill and knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to establish spread sheets and perform mathematical computations. Experience and demonstrated ability to work with mechanical and electrical formulas.
REASONING/ANALITICAL ABILITY:
Must be adept at problem solving including leadership of others in resolving issues.
