Responsibility

IT Support

1. Record Details of issues raised in the helpdesk call logging application, update users on progress and ensure user satisfaction on issue closure.

2. Resolve issues by accurately following technical procedures and using standard problem solving methods to expose and fix root cause.

3. Install, maintain and diagnose problems with PC software, hardware and related peripherals within the Pentair environment

4. Follow Change control practices following corporate standard process.

5. Identify problems and initiate problem management processes for root cause resolutions.

6. Ensure security patching, McAfee, SCCM client is administered to achieve compliance.

7. Monitor systems and produce event reports and alerts.

8. Appropriately communicate and escalate issues to appropriate specialists and stakeholders.

9. Write technical instructions for new support processes and update existing documents

10. Undertake administrative tasks including, but not limited to, user authentication systems, hardware inventory, security patching, IT procurement.

11. Participate in and sometimes coordinate IT projects.

12. Perform duties in accordance with the requirements of business agreed Service Levels

13. Other works assigned by supervisor.

IT Admin work

1.IT hardware assets/software inventory management;

2.IT Procurement management;

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

1. College or above, major in computer science or equivalent, MCSE certification preferred

2. Excellent English with both written and verbal (CET-4 or above is preferred)

3. At least 1 year related working experience in Multi National Corporation IT environment.

4. Exposure to ITIL and/or operational excellence methodologies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

1. Knowledge in Microsoft system ( AD, Instant Messaging, Windows 7/10, windows server 2012, Office 365, SCCM etc.).

2. knowledge in TCP/IP LAN/WAN, Internet;

3. knowledge in helpdesk system, telephone systems, antivirus tool;

  4.  Excellent customer service skills and communication and Listening skills

  5.  Excellent team-player.

  6.  Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure 

  7. Flexibility to work varying hours – sometimes non-core business hours.

  8. A strong drive for continual self-improvement.
