Position Purpose

We are looking for a talented product specialist to join the Pentair China water purification product management team; this position will assist China purification system product management including marketing data and product benchmark information collection, NPD supports, product lifecycle management supports. This will include working with multiple disciplines including engineering, marketing, sales, finance and operations. With the self-growth on product knowledge and market study, he or she would grow to be responsible for one product category management in future.

Essential Functions

• Assist Product Manager to better collect and analyze market trend, consumer behavior, competitors’ activities and VOC result, support PM to continuous updating on product road map.

• Responsible for the competitor benchmark, tracking and analysis, including the product specification, channel, price and trend. Give suggestion for new product definition.

• Daily support of projects revolving around the application, product, and engineering support functions for both continuous business operations as well as new business opportunities.

• Manage and track the product management team’s tasks like NPD report, sales track, PCR, rationalization plan and annual price.

• Develop a solid working knowledge of the products, market and process.

• Cooperate with marketing team; contribute the market survey and product launch activities.

  Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies

• Strong project management, organizational skills and research skills.

• Ability to multi-task, deal with ambiguity and work effectively in a team environment.

• Proficient in operating Windows and associated Microsoft Office applications, including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, must speak and write English.

• Open mind, willing to learn, result oriented.

  Education or Formal Training

• Bachelor or above, major in Marketing or Engineering.

  Experience Required

• At least 2-3 years’ working experience in product management or related.

• Travel (domestic and international)
