The main objective for Safegate Group is to provide the airport industry with efficient solutions for more and safer aircraft movements. The solutions include operations, control and handling of aircraft on the ground, airborne aircraft close to the airport and ground vehicles at the airport. Safegate China has been operating in as a subsidiary since 2008.

The role/responsibility
- Safegate is expanding their presence in China and therefore in need of an experienced Sales Manager who can assist the company to the next level.
As the Sales Manager, you will have a strategic and operative role to set up and execute team targets and business plans. The role entails building long-term relationships with domestic airport customers on the local market to expand the sales of Safegate products and services. You are the key person within the whole sales process, from identifying potential customers, see opportunities and establish long-term relationships to reporting on budget and make tenders. The role also contains some project management assuring communication between the customers, the project team and the production for each project sold. Thereby, this person will be travelling frequently across China and will work in close collaboration the other members in the sales team.
Experiences and personal qualities
- To be successful as a Sales Manager for Safegate you have to be an independent and social person who can easily spot business opportunities and the position requires at least five years sales management experiences in airport fields/industry, and are familiar with long sales cycles and technically complex products. You need to have worked in a Western corporation and thereby have a good understanding of European business culture meanwhile have a deep understanding of the Chinese market. You are fluent in both Mandarin and English and know the airport market well. Further you are experienced in project management and well familiar with technical sales.
To master this role you also need to have good communication and leadership skills and have a technical background. As a person you are a social and independent relationship-builder who is smart, creative and flexible enough to see opportunities and solve problems while working an account with determination and an open mind.
