The solutions include operations, control and handling of aircraft on the ground, airborne aircraft close to the airport and ground vehicles at the airport. Safegate China has been operating in as a subsidiary since 2008.
--- DRIVEN SALES ENGINEER WITHIN AIRPORT INDUSTRY TO A SWEDISH COMPANY IN BEIJING ---
The role/responsibility
- Safegate is looking for to strengthen their position in China and therefore in need of a driven Sales Engineer who can assist the company to cover more ground in the domestic market.
As the Sales Engineer, you will have an operative role to execute team targets and business plans. The role entails building long-term relationships with domestic airport customers on the local market to expand the sales of Safegate products and services, with the company office in Beijing as the base. Your job includes identify the potential customers and to initially promote the Safegate products and services, thereby, this person will be travelling frequently across China and will work in close collaboration the other members in the sales team and support the Sales Manager to reach targets.
Experiences and personal qualities
- To be successful as a Sales Engineer for Safegate you have to be an independent and driven person who has preferably experiences in airport fields/industry or has strong interest in the this field and eager to learn. You should have been working with products that have long sales cycles and are technically complex. You need to have worked in a Western corporation and thereby have a good understanding of European business culture. You are fluent in both Mandarin and English and have more than three years' sales experiences in similar fields.
To master this role you also need to have good communication skills and have a technical education degree. As a person you are a social and independent relationship-builder who is smart, creative and flexible enough to see opportunities and solve problems while working an account with determination and an open mind.
