Mission of Function
The Solution Designer supports the IT Demand requests from Siemens customer . He/She delivers the solution design content
including the costing as well as the RFP and proposal.
He/She is working closely with the Demand Manager / SDM and Producation Line team to ensure the IT Architecure solution
responds to the business requirements of the customers in the most cost-effective and innovative manner.

Responsibility
Analyze Customer requirements:
The Solution Designer is responsible for the analyzing of the customer business and technical
requirements and for ensuring the solution is aligned accordingly.

Solution & Service Design:
The Solution Designer tries to leverage as much as possible standardized solution modules and
combines them to deliver the technical solution. The Solution Designer may involve Delivery Support
Units resources for deep technical expertise and coordinate their inputs into the technical solution
process.

Essential
Experience in technical questions for at least in one segment.
Experience in project management is required related to the assigned project class, experiences in outsourcing projects preferable.
Experience in leading project teams without disciplinary leadership preferable.
Experience in international environment preferable.
