Summary/Objective

The Network and Systems Administrator will have in charge of all the systems (hardware and software) deployed in TurboTech. He/she will have to define and prepare their evolutions to follow the development of TurboTech’s activities. He/she will evolve in an international environment (Chinese, English and French languages).

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• On the users’ side:

Serves as a contact for users having problems using computer software, hardware, operating systems, as well as access and authorization to resources

Provides support for all systems installations and modifications

Analyzes user inquiries and problems to recommend changes

• On the hardware and software side:

Install new/rebuild existing infrastructure and configure hardware, peripherals, services, etc., in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements

Apply operating systems patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities

Applies appropriate security measures

Investigates and resolves hardware, software, and network problems

Perform and coordinate daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs

• Others:

Will be the focus point on IT issues with the two mother companies. He/she will have to implement IT security rules specified by the mother companies

Will be the interface with hardware, software and Internet providers

Will have to well documenting the IT architecture, the procedures, etc., implemented

Required Education, Experience, Competencies and Interpersonal Skills

Bachelor or Master in Information Technology Degree

If bachelor, first experience of 2/3 years acquired in a small company

Good knowledge of Windows client and server operating systems. The knowledge of NetApp data storage solutions and GNU/Linux will be very much appreciated

Being familiar with TCP/IP model, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SMB, SMTP, VPN, basic Cisco switching, routing, configuring, and setting up firewalls

Knowledge of databases, data mining or machine learning is a plus.

Advanced interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Discipline to follow instructions from start to end under any circumstances.

Must be fully bilingual in Chinese and English. French language is a plus.
