Job Description & Responsibilities

Job Summary:
The Communication Officer will work closely with the team to develop digital marketing and communication materials related to Learning and Development activities. You will be producing high quality materials that adhere to our PwC branding and risk management guidelines.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Support training event including marketing planning, collateral and advertising production, content management, public relations, promotion and events, and social media;
  • Develop marketing and communications materials for use in learning and development using multimedia platforms, for example interactive designs for smart devices (e.g. Android and iPhone/Pad) or creative post for social media (e.g. WeChat);
  • Design, develop and maintain interactive web/app content;
  • Create high quality graphics/motion graphics;
  • Ensure the materials are of high quality, free from error and adhere to PwC branding and risk management guidelines.

Requirements

In addition, candidates should illustrate the following personal attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, mass communications, media or related field;
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in public relations/marketing/communications experience in accounting, finance, banking, news and media;
  • Organized, creative, proactive, self-motivated, outgoing personality and detail-minded;
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Excellent spoken, written and reading ability in English and Mandarin Chinese;
  • Handle the copy writing and translation (English/Chinese) for training materials and promotional collateral;
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing;
  • Knowledgeable in photography, video editing, Photoshop, HTML, Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, Weibo will be an advantage.


Candidates with more experience will be considered as senior officer:?Project management experience including coordinating work across virtual working teams;

  • 5-10 years solid experience in copy writing and web/desktop publishing;
  • Excellent time management, organizational and multitasking skills;
  • Able to provide coaching, supervision and quality assurance for other junior team members.
